Janet Finch-Saunders, Member of the Welsh Parliament for Aberconwy was delighted to officially open the new Porter’s café at Llandudno Junction Railway Station.
After over a year of dedicated effort in redeveloping the site, Porter’s Café joyously opened its doors on St David’s Day. Nestled conveniently between platforms 1 and 3, Porter's Café warmly welcomes patrons from Monday to Saturday.
Offering an extensive array of culinary delights, the store features an assortment of food and drink options. From hot and cold beverages to brunch choices, sandwiches, and pastries, there's something to satisfy every palate.
The official opening ceremony was conducted by Janet and Clive Wolfendale, the Chair of Trustees at Adferiad.
Commenting after signalling the opening, Janet said:
“There’s often no trolly service on my train ride down to Cardiff so this café is an extremely welcome addition.
“Porter’s is part of a charity that supports individuals grappling with drug, alcohol, and mental health challenges, so it’s great to see them in such a good location where they can expect a very good footfall and raise awareness.
“I wish them all the best and I know I’ll be visiting it as I wait for my train down south to Cardiff.”
