Janet Finch-Saunders, Member of the Welsh Parliament for Aberconwy, who has been leading a campaign to improve mobile signal in Llandudno, is holding discussions with leading mobile providers.
Talks are taking place with Mostyn Estates Ltd, Vodafone, EE, and Virgin.
The petition calling for improved signal has now been signed by hundreds of residents.
Janet said:
“The consequences of the overloading of masts in Llandudno are serious. Mobile payment machines are failing, leaving businesses unable to take payments; and residents and visitors cannot get hold of loved ones.
“I am grateful to Mostyn Estates Ltd and all mobile providers who are cooperating positively with me, including Vodafone, EE, and Virgin.
“Llandudno needs 21st century technology, and I am delighted that our work for the community is resulting in exciting plans being developed to improve mobile signal for the town”.

Mae Janet Finch-Saunders, Aelod o’r Senedd Aberconwy, sydd wedi bod yn arwain ymgyrch i wella signal ffonau symudol yn Llandudno, yn cynnal trafodaethau gyda darparwyr symudol blaenllaw.
Mae sgyrsiau ar y gweill gyda Mostyn Estates Ltd, Vodafone, EE, a Virgin.
Mae'r ddeiseb sy’n galw am well signal bellach wedi cael ei llofnodi gan gannoedd o drigolion.
Meddai Janet:
"Mae canlyniadau gorlwytho mastiau yn Llandudno yn ddifrifol. Mae peiriannau talu symudol yn methu, gyda busnesau yn methu â chymryd taliadau; ac all preswylwyr ac ymwelwyr ddim cael gafael ar anwyliaid.
"Rwy'n ddiolchgar i Mostyn Estates Ltd a'r holl ddarparwyr ffonau symudol sy'n cydweithio'n gadarnhaol â mi, gan gynnwys Vodafone, EE, a Virgin.
"Mae angen technoleg yr 21ain ganrif ar Landudno, ac rydw i wrth fy modd bod ein gwaith dros y gymuned yn arwain at ddatblygu cynlluniau cyffrous i wella signal ffonau symudol y dref".
