Janet Finch-Saunders MS has spoken of her delight at being appointed Shadow Cabinet Secretary for Climate Change and Environment by Darren Millar MS, Leader of the Welsh Conservatives.
This is the fourth time in a row that the Member for Aberconwy has been ask to manage an environmental portfolio, and lead on tackling one of the greatest threats to Wales and the world: climate change.
Commenting on her appointment, Janet said:
“It is an honour to serve in Darren’s Shadow Cabinet as he leads us towards the next Senedd elections and beyond.
“Climate Change is the biggest crisis our country faces. Only recently we have seen the terrible consequences with serious storm damage across Wales.
“For years I have been developing and promoting policies that would help us reach Net Zero 2050 whilst also growing the economy, so I am delighted to be in a position to continue with that work for Wales”.
