Janet Finch-Saunders, Member of the Welsh Parliament for Aberconwy, is hosting a public meeting to address growing concerns over anti-social behaviour in Llandudno.
đź“… Date: 7th February 2025
🕕 Time: 6:00pm – 7:30pm
đź“Ť Location: The Lilly, W Parade, West Shore, Llandudno, LL30 2BD
The meeting follows a worrying increase in anti-social behaviour across Llandudno, with alarming incidents reported at Llandudno General Hospital, where a mattress was set on fire, nursing staff have been insulted, and toilets have been deliberately flooded.
Beyond the hospital, residents and visitors have witnessed street drinkers and drug users congregating, fighting, and even defecating in public—including outside Llandudno Town Hall and on the steps of Emmanuel Church on Lloyd Street. In a particularly shocking incident, a middle-aged woman was found bleeding outside the church, prompting calls to North Wales Police.
Commenting on the meeting Janet said:
"The reports of anti-social behaviour in Llandudno are deeply troubling.
“The incident at the hospital has meant that Hospital managers have been forced to restrict access after repeated break-ins by youths.
“Residents should feel safe in their own community, and action must be taken to address these issues.
"This public meeting will provide residents with a platform to voice their concerns and seek solutions to these issues. There will also be an opportunity to discuss other local matters, including sand management and the future of Llandudno Library.
