Janet Finch-Saunders MS has spoken of her delight at being re-appointed Shadow Minister for Climate Change by Andrew RT Davies MS, Leader of the Welsh Conservatives.
This is the third time in a row that the Member for Aberconwy has been ask to manage an environmental portfolio, and lead on tackling one of the greatest threats to Wales and the world: climate change.
Commenting on her re-appointment, Janet said:
“I’m honoured to have been asked by Andrew RT Davies to continue working for Wales as Shadow Minister for Climate Change.
“From Conwy to Cardiff Bay, climate change is having a direct impact on communities across Wales.
“Flooding to forests, marine environment to renewable energy, nature to Net Zero 2050, are only some of the policy areas that I will continue to work on for you. Indeed, I can assure all that I will do my part to hold the Labour Welsh Government to account for their 25 years of failure for Aberconwy, Wales, and the world”.

Roedd Janet Finch-Saunders AS wrth ei bodd o gael ei hailbenodi'n Weinidog yr Wrthblaid dros Newid Hinsawdd gan Andrew RT Davies AS, Arweinydd y Ceidwadwyr Cymreig.
Dyma'r trydydd tro yn olynol i'r Aelod dros Aberconwy gael ei gwahodd i reoli’r portffolio amgylcheddol, gan arwain ar y gwaith o drechu un o'r bygythiadau mwyaf i Gymru a'r byd: newid hinsawdd.
Wrth sôn am ei hailbenodiad, dywedodd Janet:
"Mae'n anrhydedd i mi fod Andrew RT Davies wedi gofyn i mi barhau i weithio i Gymru fel Gweinidog yr Wrthblaid dros Newid Hinsawdd.
"O Gonwy i Gaerdydd, mae newid hinsawdd yn cael effaith uniongyrchol ar gymunedau ledled Cymru.
"Mae'r meysydd polisi y byddaf yn parhau i weithio arnyn nhw’n cynnwys llifogydd, coedwigoedd, yr amgylchedd morol ac ynni adnewyddadwy, natur a Sero Net 2050. Yn wir, gallaf sicrhau pawb y byddaf yn gwneud fy ngorau glas i ddwyn Llywodraeth Lafur Cymru i gyfrif am eu 25 mlynedd o fethiant o ran Aberconwy, Cymru, a'r byd".
