Canolfan Riverie in Craig-y-Don provides advice and support to adults with learning disabilities across the county.
On a visit over Summer recess, Janet Finch-Saunders, Member of the Welsh Parliament for Aberconwy, saw first hand the vital work and care that this Disability Centre provides to those in need in Llandudno, and the wider area.
Janet Finch-Saunders MS commented after the visit:
“What a fantastic service that is offered to adults with learning disabilities. It was brilliant to visit the centre, and meet the amazing staff.
“The Section Manager Fiona and her team should be so proud of the service that they are offering. Indeed, they are all hard working, and committed to changing the lives of all that come through this facility.
“Whilst there, I saw that the standards were high, and as a result, all present were happy, with big smiling faces. The atmosphere was incredible.
“I want to thank Fiona and the team for their continued hard work and dedication to the centre. Without them, many adults with learning disabilities would not be receiving the advice and support needed”.
