Last week saw Janet Finch-Saunders MS pay a visit to Dudley & George’s, 127 Mostyn Street, Llandudno, United Kingdom.
The Member of the Welsh Parliament for Aberconwy called in to meet Jason Pinnick, owner of Dudley & George’s General Store, a place where dogs, and their humans, can shop, meet, eat and drink. Jason opened his store a year ago, and since then he has established his coffee house within it. Focussing on being organic and natural, customers and their four-legged companions are welcome to browse and sample the range of treats and food in-store.
Speaking after the visit, Janet said:
“It was lovely to meet Jason and to spend some time in his beautiful store.
“Clearly, this is a business which has dogs at its very heart, with a large range of quality dog accessories, food and toys for sale in its store.
“However, there really is something for everyone, whether four and two legged, with a range of books, candles, home fragrance and décor, all locally sourced where possible.
“Added to this, dogs, and their well-behaved owners, are welcome to enjoy food and drink, either inside or outside the store.
“I applaud Jason’s business model aimed at working with local suppliers who are conscious of their environmental impact, and in developing his own range of natural nutritious foods for our furry friends.
“Not one to rest on his laurels, Jason also shared with me the news of his imminent opening of ‘Hotdogs Spa’, in space beneath his store, allowing for pooches to be pampered whilst their owners relax in the coffee shop above.
“It is safe to say as pet shops go, this one really is Best of Breed”
