Janet Finch-Saunders, Member of the Welsh Parliament for Aberconwy, has praised the dedication and hard-work shown by Llandudno Town Council and a range of local stakeholders and volunteers in hosting the annual Llandudno fireworks display on North Shore beach.
Commenting after the display, Janet said:
“What a fantastic event! It was wonderful to see the town so busy with lots of families and friends along the promenade enjoying the spectacular display.
“It really was amazing, especially with the wide range of colours. I particularly liked the shooting star fireworks and the finale. The whole sky was lit up!
“On behalf of the constituency, I should like to pay tribute to the dedication shown by Llandudno Town Council and Conwy County Borough Council to ensuring that the Queen of Welsh Resorts has one of the best displays in the country. I also wish to thank those at Llandudno Pier, as well as Conwy Safety Advisory Group, for helping the event take place.
“Without the hard-work put in by staff and volunteers, the holding of such displays would be unfeasible, so they all deserve a round of applause.”
