Janet Finch-Saunders, Assembly Member for Aberconwy, today paid tribute to the 100 or so people who came to the official opening of Aberconwy’s new Constituency Office on Friday. The office, on 29 Madoc Street, Llandudno was officially opened by the Rt. Hon. David Jones MP, Secretary of State for Wales. Also in attendance were the Rt. Hon. Lord Wyn Roberts of Conwy; Guto Bebb MP; Mark Isherwood AM; Miss Daffodil; Little Miss Daffodil and a number of representatives of the community. Janet said:
"I was absolutely touched and thrilled at the turnout for the official opening of my new constituency office. It was a pleasure to celebrate the occasion among such esteemed guests and valued friends. I would like to pay tribute to our recently appointed Secretary of State for Wales – the Rt. Hon. David Jones MP for finding the time in his hectic schedule to come and honour the community of Llandudno in this way.
"Looking ahead I cannot wait to see the office go from strength to strength as the base for my work in Aberconwy. I hope that constituents will feel that this is their first port of call for engaging with the Assembly and I would like to take this opportunity to reiterate the fact that everyone is welcome to pop-in with their concerns, problems or simply for a cup of tea."
