Janet Finch-Saunders MS and Cllr. Ian Turner are working with residents to help save Llandudno North Shore beach.
Speaking about the petition, Janet said:
“We are so close to the goal of 10,000 signatures. I am so pleased to see how passionate residents and tourists alike are about saving North Shore Beach.
“With boulders on the beach, people are unable to enjoy using the foreshore like they used to. It is dangerous, and inaccessible to many.
“One of the UK’s leading destinations, and the Queen of Welsh Resorts deserves a sandy beach!
“Please support our beach by signing the online petition.”
Erbyn hyn, mae dros 9,000 o bobl wedi llofnodi’r ddeiseb i adfer Traeth y Gogledd i’w hen ogoniant. Nod y ddeiseb yw galw ar Lywodraeth Cymru i ariannu’r gwaith o symud creigiau chwarel ac adfer tywod a grwynau ar Lannau Gogledd Llandudno.
Er mwyn i’r Senedd drafod y ddeiseb, mae angen 10,000 o lofnodion. 9,341 sydd wedi llofnodi ar hyn o bryd.
Gallwch lofnodi’r ddeiseb yma.
Mae Janet Finch-Saunders AS a’r Cyngh Ian Turner yn cydweithio â thrigolion i helpu i achub Traeth y Gogledd.
Wrth siarad am y ddeiseb, dywedodd Janet:
“Rydyn ni bron â chyrraedd y 10,000 o lofnodion. Rwyf mor falch o weld pa mor frwdfrydig mae trigolion ac ymwelwyr am achub Traeth y Gogledd.
“Gyda chlogfeini ar y traeth nid yw pobl yn gallu mwynhau ei ddefnyddio fel roeddynt yn arfer ei wneud. Mae’n beryglus, ac yn anhygyrch i lawer.
“Llandudno yw un o brif gyrchfannau gwyliau’r DU, ac mae Brenhines Cyrchfannau Gwyliau Cymru yn haeddu cael traeth o dywod!
“Cefnogwch ein traeth drwy lofnodi ein deiseb ar-lein.”
