Janet Finch-Saunders, Member of the Welsh Parliament for Aberconwy is delighted to have seen the Llandudno Victorian Extravaganza return to Llandudno for its 39th year.
This free three-day event, celebrating its 40th anniversary next year, took over the town’s main roads, and included street entertainment, vintage rides, modern attractions, stall holders, face painting, and tractors and engines.
Commenting on the news Janet said:
“It was wonderful to see the streets full of the delights and excitement that the extravaganza brings every year.
“The event is always jammed packed with exciting acts and activities. Highlights from the first day included a Victorian dress competition, musical performances from the George Formby Society, Rock Choir, Llandudno Swing Band and more, and acts such as Mario Morris' Outdoor Magic Experience, Lady Vee (balloon artist), and Dr Diablo's Side Show.
“Supporting these events is so important as they bring in visitors from all over to experience the wonders of Llandudno. Children and adults alike were able to have a grand day out and I am so happy that we can continue to see these events come to Aberconwy.”
