Janet Finch-Saunders, Member of the Welsh Parliament for Aberconwy, is wishing all competitors from Aberconwy the best of luck in the Royal Welsh Show.
The pinnacle event in the British and European agricultural calendar, the Royal Welsh Show is taking place between 22 and 25 July.
Speaking as the largest rural show in Europe commences, Janet said:
“Farmers in Aberconwy have a long history of success at this magnificent show.
“Animals such as ponies, Bluefaced Leicester, and Jacob Sheep, and much more from Conwy County have all received top prizes over several years.
“Whilst I am confident that there will be further successes, I hope that the Royal Welsh provides, again, a platform for rural Wales to influence the agricultural policies being pursued by the Welsh Labour Government.
“With one of Wales’s most influential farmers, Gareth Wyn Jones being a constituent, I have every confidence that Aberconwy and North Wales will leave a positive mark at the show again this year”.

Mae Janet Finch-Saunders, Aelod o’r Seneddol dros Aberconwy, yn dymuno pob lwc i bob cystadleuydd o Aberconwy yn y Sioe Fawr.
Cynhelir y Sioe Fawr, sy’n ddigwyddiad o fri yng nghalendr amaethyddol Prydain ac Ewrop, rhwng 22 a 25 Gorffennaf.
Yn siarad wrth i sioe wledig fwyaf Ewrop ddechrau, dywedodd Janet:
"Mae gan ffermwyr Aberconwy hanes hir o lwyddiant yn y sioe wych hon.
"Mae anifeiliaid fel merlod, defaid Bluefaced Leicester, a defaid Jacob, a llawer mwy o Sir Conwy i gyd wedi derbyn y prif wobrau dros nifer o flynyddoedd.
"Er fy mod yn hyderus y bydd yna lwyddiannau pellach, rwy'n gobeithio y bydd y Sioe unwaith eto'n cynnig llwyfan i’r Gymru wledig ddylanwadu ar y polisïau amaethyddol sy'n cael eu dilyn gan Lywodraeth Lafur Cymru.
"Gydag un o ffermwyr mwyaf dylanwadol Cymru, Gareth Wyn Jones yn etholwr, mae gen i bob hyder y bydd Aberconwy a’r Gogledd yn gadael stamp positif ar y sioe eto eleni".
