Janet Finch-Saunders, Member of the Welsh Parliament for Aberconwy, has spoken of her delight after visiting the Olive Tree Coffee Shop at Snowdonia Nurseries, Glan Conwy.
Established in 1999, the restaurant has been a favourite among locals and tourists alike. It was renovated in 2018, creating a truly relaxing sanctuary.
Speaking after enjoying a meal at the café, Janet said:
“The café, nestled amongst the tropical plants for sale at the nurseries, is Eden on earth.
“Thanks to the stunning setting and delicious fresh food, a visit to this charming restaurant was like going to the Mediterranean.
“From breakfast to afternoon tea, there is something for everyone at the Olive Tree. Not only did my team and I enjoy a delicious lunch, but I left with a considerable amount of plants. I really did love it there!”

Wedi'i sefydlu ym 1999, mae'r bwyty wedi datblygu’n ffefryn ymhlith pobl leol ac ymwelwyr fel ei gilydd. Cafodd ei adnewyddu yn 2018, gan greu hafan braf i ymlacio.
Wrth siarad ar ôl mwynhau pryd o fwyd yn y caffi, dywedodd Janet:
“Mae’r caffi, sy'n swatio ymysg y planhigion trofannol sydd ar werth yn y meithrinfeydd, megis gardd Eden ar y ddaear.
“Diolch i'r lleoliad godidog a'r bwyd ffres blasus, roedd ymweliad â'r bwyty swynol hwn fel mynd i Fôr y Canoldir.
“O frecwast i de p’nawn, mae rhywbeth at ddant pawb yn yr Olive Tree. Fe wnaeth fy nhîm a minnau nid yn unig fwynhau cinio blasus, ond gadewais gyda myrdd o blanhigion hefyd. Ymweliad wrth fy modd!”
