On St David’s Day Janet Finch-Saunders MS has encouraged residents to “do the little things”.
The Member of the Welsh parliament for Aberconwy highlighted the need to look out for friends, family and neighbours amid the stresses and strains of modern life.
St David is the patron saint of Wales and we celebrate his life today, 1 March, and annually.
Some of the Saint’s final words before he passed away are his most well-known: “Do the little things in life”.
Speaking on our national day, Janet said:
“I’d like to wish everyone right across Abercowny Dydd Gŵyl Dewi hapus i chi gyd! Happy St David’s Day!
“This is a day of immense meaning and pride for people right across Wales.
“One of St David’s most important lessons was to do the little things.
“And amid the business of modern life, remembering to reach out and support family, friends and communities is absolutely crucial.
“Sometimes, the smallest of acts can make all the difference”.
